Annual General Meeting

28TH JUNE 2008 AT STERNDALE MOOR SOCIAL CLUB,
BUXTON, DERBYSHIRE

We encourage all members to attend if they can. The AGM is where the targets and directions of the Association are set for the next twelve months, and where the National Committee postholders are elected. This is also your chance to meet the National Committee, and discuss any issues with them, or to get answers to any questions you may have.

If you would like to make any proposals to the AGM or nominate anybody for a National Committee post you must do so in writing to the NABD office no later than June 1st. All proposals and nominations must be proposed and a seconded by NABD members, and both people must be in attendance at the meeting. Postal votes are not accepted on any issue. If you want to have your say, you must make the effort to attend.

Late proposals may be allowed from the floor of the meeting but this will depend on time available and be at the discretion of the Chairman.
Affiliated club members are welcome to attend, but each Club will only carry one vote in any ballot.

The meeting will start at 12:00 noon and finish about 4:00pm.

There will then be a buffet followed by evening entertainment including live bands. (There is also a quieter room for those who like to chat). The venue has two licensed bars.

Free camping is available adjacent to the venue on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th.

The venue has full disabled access and facilities.
