After getting the Kliktronic gearchanger from the NABD it was fitted to the XJR and the to the FXDWG at the firm in Elmswell. I then took the XJR to Faro (Portsmouth to Cherbourg route) and had no problems at all with it.

I have also done Rock and Blues, and then the Bulldog Bash so far.

I’ve now done over 5,000 miles of riding after a three and a half year lay off from biking thanks to Mr Mercedes turning right in front of me. (Putting me in hospital with a busted left leg, which had a external fixator on for two years before being cut off five and a half inches below the knee).

So if possible could you, through the Open House magazine, say thanks to the paramedic, Richard who works out of the Oval, for putting me in touch with NABD and thanks to you lot NABD, for getting me back to riding.

This NABD grant of £310.00 was sponsored by a donation from Roughley’s Stockport Bike Show
