The NABD was represented by members from South Wales with an exhibit at the Welsh Bike Show earlier this year. I would like to express my appreciation to the organisers for firstly accommodating us at short notice, secondly for giving us a very good position, and last but not least for looking after us and humoring our idiosyncrasies during the event.

The show ran for four days. The first is mainly for setup, the remaining three for the public. Having adapted exhibits on our stand, made our task of catching attention and explaining our purpose a lot easier.

So a very big 'thank you' to Bob and Marlene Everitt who in spite of the poxy weather loaned us their Bandit 1200 trike on the Saturday. This one had been adapted by Trike Design (Cardiff) with the assistance of an NABD grant. (Featured in a previous Issue of 'Open House).

Also thanks to Haydn from the Trike Shop (Cardiff) who persuaded Mark Raymond to loan his adapted F6C to us for the Sunday and part of Monday. And thanks also to Roger and Sian Holly who on the Monday loaned us their CX500 trike, built by Sean Kedward, and modified with a Kliktronic aided by the NABD.

Neil Samson from South Wales helped out for a day, also Helena Skapars, who although officially at the show to patch up the wounded, also gave us some of her time.

Last and certainly not least a thank you to my other half, Mandi, who stuck it out for the whole event, and managed to keep me reasonably sane etc! All in all I think it was a worthwhile attendance. We recruited some new members, raised some funds and made a lot of punters more aware of what the NABD is all about
