Due to a lack of mobility in his right leg Alex Findlay of Aberdeen decided he would have his Goldwing converted to a trike by CCS Engineering in Avonmouth, Bristol. Obviously these things don't come cheap, and there was the added expense of the necessary rear brake adaption to suit his disability, so Alex asked if the NABD could help. A grant of £300.00 was agreed (this being the cost of the brake adaption) and it seemed appropriate for this to be another adaption sponsored by from the £10,000 donated by the Goldwing Owners Club of Great Britain. As you can see they made a lovely job of it and Alex is as pleased as Punch with the trike. I think a quote from Alex sums it all up nicely;
