GEORGE MOYER JNR. My name is George Moyer Jr.. I am 28 years old. I would like to know a little bit more about your organization, because I am disabled and I love to ride. If there is anyway possible can you send me a pamphlet to the address below, so I know what the organization is about? Can I also have some extra, so I can show to the other cycle clubs around my area in Pottsville, Pennsylvania in U.S.A.? I was searching the web and I found the NABD website and was really attracted to what I read, because of my disability that I have. I will tell you a little bit about my disability ... My disability is called Arthrogryposis (describe) I had this since I was born in 1972. My mother was pregnant and she was in her 7th month of carrying me, when she was struck by a car causing severe internal damages to her, including foetal damages. I have spent the first three years of my life down at shriner's hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the U.S.A. I had to go through 18 operations on my arms to better them, the doctors had to implant muscle tenants and some bone replacement. The doctors told me that I would never be able to do anything with my arms, but in the past 15 years I have learned to utilize the abilities and limited movement. They told me when I have children, they would of been born the same way, but that is not true, because I have 2 healthy children that I am very thankful for. I have a fiancé that takes very good care of me because of my disability. She does not look at me because of me being different than others. She told me when I met her back in 1993, that it doesn't matter what the person looks like, it is the way that they feel inside, and I believed her 100%. She had changed how I feel about myself, because I always felt that people looked at me different. I would like you to look over my disability, and share it with other people, that would mean a lot to me, knowing that I have other people out there that care besides my family.
Thank you very much for taking the time to look over what I wrote.
